Positano is the defining image of the Amalfi Coast — a cascade of pastel houses tumbling down a cliffside to a small beach, with bougainvillea everywhere and the sea impossibly blue below. Ravello, high above on the ridge, trades the crowds for silence, gardens, and one of the most extraordinary views in Italy.
Positano & Ravelloを訪れる理由
Positano is best experienced early morning before the day-trippers arrive by ferry — the narrow streets, the church of Santa Maria Assunta with its majolica dome, the smell of lemon from the terraced gardens above. Ravello's Villa Rufolo hosts one of Italy's great summer music festivals, with concerts staged on a terrace above the sea.

May and September are the sweet spots — warm, beautiful, and manageable. Positano in July is extraordinary to look at and challenging to move through. Ravello rewards an off-season visit when the gardens are quieter and the light is cleaner.
Nova Insider
The least-known path on this stretch of coast connects Positano to the village of Nocelle above it — 1,500 steps cut into the cliff, completely vertical, with views that open as you climb. Start at dawn, reach the top in forty minutes, and have breakfast at the one bar in Nocelle before walking onward to Praiano.
