The Best Design Forward Hotels in Barcelona

Beyond the celebrated exuberance of its public architecture, a different design sensibility finds its footing in Barcelona. It is a quieter, more reasoned approach, one that feels at home within the ordered grid of the Eixample. Here, the focus shifts inward, prioritising the interplay of natural light and structure, where the morning sun might trace a line across a cool terrazzo floor. This sensibility is uninterested in spectacle. Instead, it expresses itself through the precise joinery of a piece of furniture or the honest, unadorned application of a single material throughout a space.
