The Best Seaview Terrace Hotels in Madrid

In Madrid, the notion of a seaview is necessarily an abstraction. It is found not in proximity to water, but in a specific orientation toward the city itself—a high floor above the Salamanca district, perhaps, where the metropolis resolves into a uniform plane of terracotta rooftops. The sensibility is one of observation, of an architectural horizon surveyed from a private perch. It favours the wide expanse of the Castilian sky and the city’s ordered geometry over interior adornment. This is a terrace where the day's cadence is tracked by the shifting light on stone.
