The Best Design Forward Hotels in Santa Margherita Ligure

In Santa Margherita Ligure, where the streetscape is defined by painted stucco and the waterfront by its 16th-century castle, a particular approach to hospitality is taking shape. It is an interpretation of place that prioritizes a reduction of elements, directing attention instead toward material and form—the intentional framing of a window, the cool weight of a brass handle. This is not about spectacle, but about a measured quiet and a clear point of view, where the composition of a room is given as much thought as the city’s composition itself.
