The Best Rooftop Pool Hotels in Venice

Venice is a city experienced at sea level, a network of canals and pedestrian laneways. To see it from above is a shift in perspective. A rooftop pool provides this vantage point, a quiet plane set above the crowds moving towards the Rialto Bridge. Here, the city’s soundscape softens, replaced by the sight of terracotta roof tiles sprawling towards the lagoon. It is a space defined by its calm counterpoint to the city below, where the day can begin or end with a view unobstructed by narrow streets. This is less about swimming and more about observation.
