The Best Wellness Retreat Hotels in Florence

In Florence, a different tempo can be found away from the crowds pressing towards the Ponte Vecchio. Across the river in Oltrarno, the day’s rhythm is set by the opening of workshop shutters and the sounds from private courtyards. Here, a certain kind of hotel prioritizes this quietude. Spaces are considered, designed for morning light and the simple pleasure of bare feet on cool travertine floors. Breakfast is not an expansive buffet but a thoughtful arrangement of local fruits and bread. It is a way of experiencing the city that values slowness over spectacle.
