The Best Wellness Retreat Hotels in Sanremo

In Sanremo, a particular approach to hospitality offers a counterpoint to the city’s Belle Époque persona. Beyond the dense lanes of La Pigna, the emphasis is on subtraction rather than addition. Interiors favor a spare utility; thick walls of local stone meet simple plaster finishes. Days are a sequence of small rituals: a walk through gardens of native flora, a swim in a saltwater pool, a meal prepared from the regional market. This is a quieter, more considered way of inhabiting the Italian Riviera, focused on the restorative qualities of the immediate landscape.
